Interesting picture

This picture was taken on Friday the 16th Jan 2009 by myself at a private party I attended at a location in Wiltshire. I took the picture to capture just how beautiful the room looked while the place was still empty and everyone else was still in the bar area.

When I got the pictures uploaded on my laptop the next day I was very shocked to see that even on my free time I seem to be making contact with the other side. It seems that in this picture there is a distinct shadow on the left hand side underneath the lights. I was definitely alone at the time and the room is about 15 foot long so it cannot be my shadow being cast on the wall. I sent the picture off to 4 other people and simply asked them what they saw when they looked at picture. I did this because pixilation and different screen resolutions can cause you to see images in one version of the picture but on another screen you may not see it at all. This is due to pareidolia which is where the mind makes sense of random patterns and turns them into a recognisable form. All came back with the same answer as me. They all saw a shadowy figure on the left hand side of the picture. In fact it has also been pointed out to me a smaller figure stooped below the shadow.

Did I inadvertently put on my paranormal investigators head on during a party and capture a shadowy figure getting ready to join in? I don't know but this picture has caused a bit of excitement to who saw it first.
