Inn with the well

back on the trail of ghosts

Well. Finally after a few months off We are back hot on the trail of spook hunting again.

Last night we found ourselves at a lovely country pub for our first investigation as Pheonix Paranormal which was made even more fantastic as we were joined by the lovely twilight shadows. We went to this amazing pub called the inn with the well which is somewhere between malborough and Swindon. It is said to of had an old chapel on the grounds (now a house) and some unmarked graves and also another well outside.

The First to arrive was myself and Lou. We walked into the pub and were faced by this amazing site of this circular glass opening about 1.5 metres in diametre set in the floor. This was the well!!!! It it about 90ft deep in total and at the moment the water level is at about 30ft from top which is very high as we have had a lot or rain. Usually it is about 75 ft from top. I am extremely scared of heights so just peeping over the edge made me go all giddy!!! l

During the evening some of the team were brave enough to try some scrying with there reflections in the well water. Below is a picture of Maria attempting to scry.

We also tried some very our ouija board that a lot of people are very wary of but with the right protection prayer and making sure you open and close your circle properly after we have never had a problem. We got some amazing information from what came through and are hoping to be able to varify the info as it was extremely specific.

I was hoping to use some dowsing rods to locate the well outside but the weather turned foul so I decided to wimp out and stay inside in the warm and dry.

During the investigation not much paranormal was experienced though we all felt uneasy in one of the bedrooms, a stairwell and while we were there we believe we helped move a trapped spirit over to the light. Otherwise it was a privilage to of been given permission to hold an investigation in such a superb country pub with the most amazing attraction I have ever seen.
