Investigation Report

Last night is the first of 2 vigils I am doing this weekend. I have been carefully putting together a joint investigation with Wessex Paranormal and Phoenix Paranormal. The Wessex team really wanted to go to Drew Ponds Woods in Devizes which I needed a member from my team to help me with as I do not know the area very well. We met last night at 9pm. The walk in Drew Ponds was brilliant. It is a nature reserve that has been developed over a mass burial ground for ex patients and staff of an old close by disused sanatorium that is now residential houses and flats. I usually feel fine here but there was a moment where we were on the top trackway where I suddenly felt like someone was very close by watching us from the darkness (and it is very dark there) The team member from my group walked with me for a bit towards where I felt uncomfortable. Chatted for a bit then walked back and I felt fine but suddenly I felt like someone was right behind me and I turned around to look and the feeling was so strong and sudden I must admit I ran!! lol.. ok and Shrieked!!

We went from the woods to the Gallows. Here I felt like my ribcage was bruised and had to step out of the area. One of the wessexs team almost got what was on this area of land and I learned also there was some stocks too!! That may explain the very uncomfortable feeling around my shoulders and ribcage!

We walked from the Gallows to another place just up the road. Its a park and an enclosed area which a male spirit is supposed to be seen striding up and down the path.

From here we went to Atworth Church!! Now this place is amazing. It is supposed to have a guardian spirit that does not like woman!! That is all I know. The last time I went here was at the start of my paranormal journey and even then I felt the area where this thing is supposed to stand. Well this time we sent the Wessexs team in 2 by 2. All got the to the area and felt uneasy. All are grown men. They were terrified of the atmosphere. When it was my turn I knew where the area is and what to expect but I did not expect to feel the overwhelming sense of terror that I experienced this time. I swear I saw someone standing around the corner too. I legged it back up the path.. I know I am a little more developed now in sensing things but this was something else. All of us went down this time and stayed in this certain area. I am sure someone walked passed me but all members present deny doing this. We left 2 of the members to go around by themselves and they swear they heard a deep male voice telling them to "get out" When it was my turn again I managed to get around but kept my eyes closed at the awful bit.

We went around a few more times but it was getting very cold and wet and late so we decided to call our ghost tour off for the night. The wessex team had a brilliant time and so did we!!
